Mataram (08/30)- Ministry of Tourism organized a National Halal Tourism Competition (KPHN) 2016. The ministry of Tourism presented awards to the winners in the form of Top 15 Halal Tourism Award, Awards the Best Family Hotel Friendly Travelers Moslem, Moslem Travelers Friendly Beach Resort and the Best Halal Travel Agency. The competition began in June until September 2016, which had entered the stage of assessment and judging.
Lombok International Airport was included in the category of Airport that friendly to Moslem travelers. In this category, Lombok International Airport had to compete with the other two airports namely Sultan Iskandar Muda International Airport and Minangkabau International Airport. The award Halal Tourism was planned on September 27th, 2015. The main aspect of the assessment in KPHN 2016 included profile, key achievement, unique characteristics. The community could choose the best nominee through e-voting held online from August 26th to September 15th, 2016. The selection of e-voting can be accessed on halaltourism.id. website.
